Miami-Dade County Cooperative Extension will host a South Florida Ornamental Plant Disease & Management Workshop


(MIAMI, July 31, 2013) - Miami-Dade County’s Cooperative Extension in partnership with the University of Florida’s Tropical Research and Education Center will host a South FL Ornamental Plant Disease Management Workshop. The workshop is aimed at, updating growers and allied partners on the latest and best management practices to tackle this year’s pest diseases and prevent new “winter” season ones.

The workshop will be held on Thursday, August 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the County’s John D. Campbell Agricultural Center Auditorium located at 18710 SW 288 Street, Homestead. Pesticide CEU credits will be offered for this workshop. Lunch is included in the registration fee.
