Woody and Herbaceous Plants Native to Haiti for use in Miami-Dade Landscapes


(MIAMI, September 3, 2013) – Miami-Dade County’s Cooperative Extension Services a division within the Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources has completed development of a new Cooperative Extension publication. The publication is entitled: “Woody and Herbaceous Plants Native to Haiti for use in Miami-Dade Landscapes”.   

This informative publication, consisting of over 28 pages, with more than 140 plants descriptions include, several plant photographs. The full index describes current scientific names of each plant as well as common names in English and where known French and/or Creole.
