Taxicab Advisory Group seeking two new members

(MIAMI, September 4, 2013) – Miami-Dade County’s For-Hire Passenger Transportation is seeking two (2) new members to join its Taxicab Advisory Group (TAG). The Taxicab Advisory Group provides input to the Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources on issues relating to the for-hire taxicab industry. Two (2) member seats on TAG are open to qualified applicants in the category listed below:

• Full-Time Taxicab Chauffeur Owner-drivers (2- seats available)

The TAG was created in 2003 and comprised of consumer and industry representatives, transportation-related interests, municipalities and public interest organizations.  Duties include developing, implementing and evaluating new innovative services, service expansion and improvements through discussions with the department which then, studies the feasibility of recommendations.
