SUMMER MEALS DISTRIBUTION SITES
Communtiy Action Agency is currently providing meals to children up the the age of 18 through the Summer Meals Program. The program will operate from June 8 through July 31, 2009 at various loctions throughout the County.

UTILITY ASSISTANCE NOW AVAILABLE
Miami Dade County Community Action Agency’s Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is currently assisting income eligible residents with payment of their gas and/or electric bill. Applications for LIHEAP will be available beginning Monday, February 9, 2009 at CAA Service Centers . Applications are also available online . Free Childcare Available NOW
Miami Dade County Community Action Agency’s Head Start/Early Head Start Program is accepting applications for FREE CHILDCARE for children ages three (3) and four (4) years old to participate in the 2009-2010 program year. To be eligible, children must be at least three years of age on or before September 1, 2009.

Miami Dade County Community Action Agency’s Energy Programs Division has services available to assist homeowners to make their homes more energy efficient. Civil Rights Restoration Workshops
CAA and the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office are holding Civil Rights Restoration Workshops to assist individuals with felony convictions to have their civil rights restored and criminal records sealed and/or expunged. The workshops are held each Friday at the Liberty City Neighborhood Center from 9:00am- 12:00 pm.
