The forty-five member, tripartite board is mandated by the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) guidelines, and is made up of representatives from sixteen neighborhood advisory committees in addition to representatives for each of the County Commissioners, a representative of Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Alvarez, and other stakeholders. These meetings are open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend.
