Free Childcare Available NOW
Miami Dade County Community Action Agency’s Head Start/Early Head Start Program is still accepting applications for FREE CHILDCARE for children ages three (3) and four (4) years old to participate in the 2008-2009 program year. To be eligible, children must be at least three years of age on or before September 1, 2008.

Community Action Agency(CAA) Board of Directors Meeting
CAA's Board of Directors Meeting has been scheduled for Monday, September 8, 2008 at 4:00PM at the CAA Administrative Offices located at the Overtown Transit Village North, 701 NW 1st Court in the 1st Floor Training Room. This meeting is open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend.

Need help paying your Utility Bills?
The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) can help, by providing assistance up to $200 per household on your energy bill. Applications will be distributed beginning on May 27, 2008 at various Community Action Agency LIHEAP Distribution Centers in Miami-Dade County.

Community Action Agency Administrative Offices Have Moved
The Administrative Offices for Miami-Dade Community Action Agency have moved to the 9th and 10th floors of the Overtown Transit Village, located at 701 NW 1st Court, Miami, FL 33136. The main switchboard number has been changed to 786-469-4600.
