    • The United States Small Business Administration (SBA) provides financial, technical and management assistance to help Americans start, run, and grow their businesses. The SBA is the nation's largest single financial backer of small businesses.  The SBA also plays a major role in the government's disaster relief efforts by making low-interest recovery loans to both homeowners and businesses.

    • South Florida Regional Planning Council Revolving Loan Fund
      The South Florida Regional Planning Council (SFRPC) is an organization governed by a 19 member Board comprised of elected officials, governor’s appointees and ex-officio members representing Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. The Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) provides business financing for eligible projects within Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties.

    • The Beacon Council is Miami-Dade County's official economic development partnership, is a not-for-profit, public-private organization that focuses on job creation and economic growth by coordinating community-wide programs; promoting minority business and economic development; providing assistance to local businesses in their expansion efforts; and marketing Greater Miami throughout the world.

    • The Miami-Dade County Housing Agency provides quality affordable housing opportunities, economic independence opportunities, and neighborhood revitalization and stabilization activities to low-and moderate-income residents of Miami-Dade County.

    • The Miami-Dade County Task Force on Urban Economic Revitalization helps focus Miami-Dade County’s economic development funding process, encourages the formation of public/private partnerships, and places significant control over funding of economic development projects in designated Targeted Urban Areas (TUAs) in the hands of a community based County board.

    • KnowledgePlex™  is a comprehensive, interactive resource for the affordable housing and community development field, to share knowledge, build relationships, and shape the future of American communities.  Many useful links.

    • The Enterprise Foundation helps America's low-income families with their struggle out of poverty by providing decent homes, access to steady employment, quality childcare and safer streets.  Working with a network of 2,500 community organizations nationwide and through its 15 local offices, The Enterprise Foundation has leveraged close to $5 billion in investments and donations to help build almost 160,000 affordable homes and help nearly 40,000 hard-to-employ people find jobs since 1982.

    • Florida Community Loan Fund  provides capital and technical assistance for projects that support affordable housing, economic development and social services from its offices in Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville and Sarasota. Established in 1994, the Loan Fund is among the fastest growing funds of its kind in the country and a pioneer in the community development finance field in Florida. It is certified as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and as a Community Development Entity (CDE).
