Miami-Dade County’s Charter Review Task Force To Meet On Wednesday, September 19, 2007 |

The Miami-Dade County Home Rule Charter was adopted in 1957 essentially becoming the "constitution" for Miami-Dade County. Section 9.08 of the Home Rule Charter requires that the Board review the Charter at least once every five-year period to determine whether or not there is a need for revision of the Charter. For more information, please log on www.miamidade.gov/charterreview. From the north, head south on South Miami Ave. Turn right into parking lot used by Museum of Science. From parking lot, go right into the Village area. The Garage is the building with double green doors immediately to the left. Attendees may park in the paved area immediately in front of the Garage or the Museum of Science lot. From the south, take US 1 north and turn right onto SW 32nd Road; then turn right on South Miami Av. and follow the above directions.
