Citizens' Independent Transportation Trust
The Citizens' Independent Transportation Trust (CITT) is the 15-member body created to oversee the People's Transportation Plan funded with the half-percent sales surtax.
The Office of the Citizens' Independent Transportation Trust (OCITT) provides staff support for the CITT and coordinates public outreach efforts to inform the community regarding the improvements that have been implemented using surtax funds.

The Citizens’ Independent Transportation Trust (Transportation Trust), Audit (AC) Committee, the Project and the Financial Review Committee (PFRC) and the full Transportation Trust last convened on Thursday, June 19, at 4 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., respectively. The AC and PFRC met in the Transportation Trust Conference Room at Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW 1st St., 10th floor. The full Transportation Trust met in the Board of County Commission Chambers, also at Stephen P. Clark Center.

People's Transportation Plan 10 Year Progress Report
The Ten-Year Report provides a view of the progress of implementation of the projects in the People’s Transportation Plan (PTP) and the role of the Citizens’ Independent Transportation Trust (Transportation Trust) in that process.
The Transportation Trust recognizes the 10 year milestone of the PTP and the transportation improvements made possible by the transportation Surtax. Over the past 10 years PTP projects have enhanced public transportation, provided greater mobility options and improved safety and convenience for passengers, motorists and pedestrians alike.

PTP 5-Year Implementation Plan
This report represents the first annual update of the Five Year Plan. It documents current status of progress in the implementation of surtax funded projects versus the baseline provided in last year's initial plan, including references to these projects from the County's 2011-2012 Adopted Capital Budget.
Citizens Can Provide Input to Miami-Dade Transit's Title VI Non-Discrimination Program
In response to recent changes made by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) on Title VI Requirements and Guidelines for FTA Recipients (FTA C4702.1B), Miami-Dade Transit is looking for citizens to provide input on proposed polices regarding major service changes and their impacts on fixed-route services. Metropolitan Planning Organization Updates the Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) to 2040
