    Obtaining Minutes

    The Commission Reporting Section staffs, records and generates minutes and reports for the Board of County Commissioners '  Regular (Legislative), Committee and Subcommittee meetings.  The draft, which includes the actions, motions, votes, and amended language for Regular meetings are available online the day after the respective meeting. This information is available for Committees and Subcommittees immediately following the conclusion of these meetings.

    The Commission Reporting Section also prepares meeting minutes for the County Commissioners' Zoning (Quasi-Judicial), Workshops, Task Forces, Ad Hoc Committees, Councils, and Trusts.

    The official minutes for Regular, Committee, and Subcommittee meetings from June 18, 1996 to present are available online.  Minutes from 1888 to June 1996 are not accessible online; however, you can obtain these minutes by contacting Doris Dickens at dwd1@miamidade.gov.

    You will receive a response to your request for information within two to three days, depending on the nature of the request. Please indicate in your email whether the information you have requested is time sensitive.

    A photocopied page is $.15 each and a microfilm copy is $1 for the first page and $.50 for each additional.  Audio recordings of County Commission proceedings are available on compact disk at a cost of $12 each.
