Miami-Dade County's Employee Recognition Program fosters a work environment where every Miami-Dade County employee has an equal opportunity to be recognized for his or her professional achievements, personal accomplishments, contributions to the organization and service to the community.
We envision an innovative and creative workforce where management and employees work together to improve productivity and service quality using incentive-based approaches, rewards and recognition.
In order to accomplish its mission and compel its vision, Employee Recognition objectively administers and actively promotes programs and services to enhance employee morale and celebrate employee loyalty, commitment and involvement.
Employee participation in these activities will promote and perpetuate the organization's shared values of team work, individual excellence, innovation, continuous improvement, quality, and performance to ultimately lower costs and improve services.
Employee Recognition Awards
The Miami-Dade County Employee Recognition Program recognizes employees for a variety of achievements including years of service and exceptional performance.
Milestones & Mementos
Service pins are presented by the employee's department until year 30 when a plaque is also presented before the Board of County Commissioners.
