Older model toilets are being replaced by new High-Efficiency Toilet (HET) models through several Miami-Dade County programs.
Rebate Program
The High-Efficiency Toilet (HET) Rebate project provides Miami-Dade residents with up to $100 when they purchase and install a WaterSense-certified 1.28 gallons-per-flush HET.
Full Retrofit Project
This program is for senior citizens who qualify for the additional homestead exemption on their property taxes and those customers who meet the federal criteria for low income households.
