General Instructions for Inmates’ Families and Friends to Receive a refund from Correctional Billing Services (CBS)

For families and friends that have been accepting collect calls from inmates at Miami Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation, the inmate telephone system is changing to a new company Global Tel*link (GTL) in a few weeks.  If you have a CBS account, the money in your account cannot be transferred from CBS to GTL.  Families and friends must close their CBS account and get a refund.

You will have to request the refund from CBS.  You can contact them directly at the address and phone number provided below. They will be able to help you with any refunds you are owed.
