The Training Bureau is responsible for the Practical Applications Unit, the Training Development Unit and the Entry-Continuing Education Unit. Primary responsibilities are planning, development, and implementation of training programs to include basic correctional officer and lateral training academies,
in-service training, facility-based training, career development, and civilian and executive training.
