The Miami-Dade County Consumer Services Department conducts free “how-to” sessions about Small Claims Court at different location across the County. The entire Small Claims Court process is described in a step-by-step manner, from the initial filing through to the collection on a judgment, for claims of $5,000 or less. A comprehensive packet of sample legal forms is provided.
For the third year a limited number of these clinics are being offered in Spanish. Small Claims Court Clinics are open to the public and reservations are not required.
