The Florida Channel, which is produced by Florida State University, is televised on local cable during regular and special sessions of the state legislature and also covers committee and board meetings, proceedings of the Florida Supreme Court and other presentations.

The Florida Channel is carried daily on the cable access channel from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. and during any other non-College or community-related programmed hours.  During regular and special sessions of the Florida Legislature, The Florida Channel is carried 24 hours a day.
