A one (1) year renewal fee is $200.00 and a two (2) year renewal fee is $400.00.
Cash will not be accepted. Fees can be paid by check, money order or cashiers check
made payable to the “Board of County Commissioners”. If renewing in person, the renewal fee can be paid by credit card (MasterCard or Visa).
Incomplete Applications
If the application process is not completed within sixty (60) days from the date that the application was filed with the Consumer Services Department, the application will be considered abandoned and closed and a new application and fee will be required.
A late fee of $100.00 will be required if the renewal application is submitted after the expiration of the current registration. The late fee is in addition to the renewal fee.
Change of Ownership
In the event of a change in ownership of a motor vehicle repair facility, a new application and fee is required. Corporations that have a change of ten (10) percent or more of its ownership shall notify the Consumer Services Department of the change no later than ten (10) days after the date of the change.
Changes in any material aspect of the motor vehicle repair facility shall be provided to the Consumer Services Department in writing along with proof of the change and a $10.00 fee, if replacement of the registration is required, within thirty (30) days of the change.
