The 2009 Adopt-a-Tree season took place from June to September and it was a complete success. We would like to thank the DERM staff, community residents and volunteers, the County agencies and the private and non-profit organizations that have contributed to the success of the program during the past years. We couldn't continue to enhance our local tree canopy without you! In fact, the Adopt-a-Tree program is one of the most successful tree canopy replacement programs in Florida. To date, more than 140,000 FREE trees have found a home in Miami-Dade County.
