Description: A slow-growing, evergreen tree with white showy flowers throughout the year. It is almost extinct in Mexico and western Texas, which is where it’s from.
Size: Small to medium (typically 20 ft in height)
Location: Plant at least 20 feet from power lines and 10-16 feet from your house. Full sun.
Salt tolerance: Low
Watering: Water during planting and for one year thereafter (see watering schedule in "Dig In Miami-Dade County" booklet). May need to water during fruiting if under drought conditions.
