There are many ways that you can assist in protecting and enhancing our environment. We will have some improvements to our volunteer and careers information in the near future.

Volunteers
Volunteering at DERM events can benefit you and our community. Lend a hand to improve and restore Miami-Dade County's environment and/or receive community service hours at any of the following events: Adopt-a-Tree, Baynanza, Natural Areas Management Volunteer Workdays or participate in the activities of one of our local Environmental Education Providers organizations.
Internships
The DERM Internship Program can be a terrific opportunity for those wishing to contribute their time and skills towards achieving DERM's goals, as well as gain experience in an area that may be of career interest. Interns do not replace employees; rather their efforts add support for environmental protection efforts and help to expand service to the public.
Interns may come from all backgrounds and have a variety of skills to contribute. The DERM Internship Coordinator will ask you to fill out an application and/or provide pertinent information that will be maintained in our database and provided to prospective supervisors. If you are ready to add your name to our pool of candidates please contact DERM's Office of Administrative Services at 305-372-6756.
Careers
Our dedicated professionals are making a difference in today's world. Become a part of the DERM team, search for open positions on our Online Employment Application site.
