    Pre-Kindergarten Program Registration

    Free Pre-Kindergarten Program
    The Early Learning Coalition of Miami-Dade/Monroe has announcedthat registration for Florida’s free Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) School Year Program will begin on April 28, 2007 and will run through the summer.
    Registration Sites And Information
    All Sites Mondays – Thursdays 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
    Fridays 8:00 AM-12:00 Noon
    Saturdays April 28 & May 5 – 9:00 AM-3:00PM
    2007-2008 School Year Program (For Children Born 9/2/2002-9/1/2003)

    Avoid Delays!! Bring Photocopies of required document to leave on file. Print clearly on your application form using black or blue pen.

    Note – The line will be closed when all of the numbers for the amount of parents we can see during the scheduled hours have been given out. Parents will need to come back to any location of their choice (please see available hours). Service is rendered on a first-come, first-served basis. The parent application process is continuous.

    Please bring a COPY of the following documents to be filed with your application:

    • Proof Of Florida Residency – A photocopy of a document showing name and current home address.   Examples: bank statements, insurance policy, utility bill, valid Florida Driver’s license, pay stubs or government documents.
    • Child’s Date Of Birth – A photocopy of a document showing each child’s date of birth. Examples: Birth  certificate, passport, a certificate of arrival in the USA showing age, valid military dependent identification card,  immunization document, baptism certificate o other religious record showing child’s birth date.
    • At The Application Site You Will Receive
      1. A list of certified Miami-Dade County VPK providers
      2. A Certificate of Eligibility that you must take to the participating VPK provider of your choice to have your child registered in school
      3. Parent/Guardian Responsibility information sheet
