    Elderly Meals on Wheels

    Miami-Dade County Department of Human Services provides home delivered meals each week to low-income, ill and/or homebound persons with disabilities living within seven geographic areas within Miami-Dade County.  These areas are:

    • Northwest Miami
    • Downtown Miami
    • Homestead/Florida City
    • Naranja
    • Perrine
    • Goulds
    • Opa-Locka/Miami Gardens
    • South Miami Dade County

    Participants in the program receive seven (7) frozen meals each week, along with fresh fruits, milk and other food items.
