Provides part-time volunteer opportunities for low income persons age 60 and older through its Senior Companion Program.  The program provides participants the opportunity to enrich their lives through providing services to other seniors less frail than themselves.  This program strives to prevent or reduce the need for institutional care, there by helping the elderly to continue living at home.  Volunteer benefits include an hourly stipend, transportation allowance, lunch reimbursement, training, casework services information and referral.  For additional information regarding this program please contact:
