Miami-Dade County's Department of Human Services (DHS) provides employment and training services to eligible migrant and seasonal farm workers that includes the following:

• academic and vocational training,
• recruitment,
• needs assessment,
• employment counseling,
• legal counseling,
• cash living allowance,
• transportation,
• schools books,
• employability skills,
• uniforms,
• tuition,
• medical services, and
• referrals to other service providers

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a farm worker or the husband, wife, or dependent child of a farm worker.
• Must be a citizen or a legal resident of the United States, or have a working permit.
• Must meeting federal poverty guidelines.
