Commissioner Jordan to address new developments in Northwest Miami-Dade

Residents to receive update on proposed film studio and infrastructure projects

(MIAMI, FL) – With new developments on the horizon in District 1 and major Water and Sewer projects in the pipeline, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Barbara J. Jordan will hold a community meeting to inform residents about upcoming changes. Residents in District 1 are asked to attend this gathering to hear about economic development initiatives, infrastructure projects, transportation, roadway improvements, public safety and code enforcement, and to access a host of County resources. The community meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 6, beginning at 7 p.m., at Joella C. Good Elementary School, 6350 NW 188th Terrace in Miami.

“I’m sure that residents have been reading about the proposed film studio, mega mall and infrastructure initiatives in Northwest Miami-Dade County,” said Commissioner Jordan. “This is an opportunity for them to have their questions addressed without going downtown and standing before the entire Commission.

“I’m hoping that residents will be encouraged by these new developments since they will spur economic development in our area.”

For more information regarding the community meeting, call (305) 474-3011.
