“Sweetheart of Song” and Grammy-nominated percussionist to perform


  
Rochelle Lightfoot and Bobby Thomas will perform at Commissioner Jordan's free Music in the Park Jazz and Blues concert on Dec. 2

MIAMI GARDENS – Rochelle Lightfoot, the “Sweetheart of Song," and Bobby Thomas Jr., a two-time Grammy award nominee, jazz percussionist and hand drummer, are slated to perform at Miami-Dade County Commissioner Barbara J. Jordan’s free Music in the Park Jazz and Blues concert.

The concert will be held on Friday, December 2 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex, 3000 NW 199th Street, Miami Gardens, Florida, 33056.

Music in the Park is sponsored by the Miami-Dade Parks Foundation, City of Miami Gardens Councilman Rodney Harris, Miami-Dade County Cultural Affairs Department, Sunshine Jazz Organization, and the Office of Commissioner Barbara J. Jordan.
