Commissioner Jordan and Mayor Taylor to hold Movie Night in Opa-locka: families encouraged to attend

Miami, FL – Miami-Dade County residents will be treated to a movie under the stars. On Friday, November 15, residents in District 1 will see a free movie at Sherbondy Park, 215 Perviz Avenue, in Opa-locka, beginning at 7 p.m.

Families will enjoy free popcorn, hot dogs and refreshments, while supplies last. Everyone is encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and other items that will create a comfortable  atmosphere for the movie. 

Movie Night is funded by Commissioner Barbara Jordan, and is administered by the Miami-Dade County Parks Foundation. For more information, contact Commissioner Jordan’s Office at (305) 474-3011.
