Commissioner Jordan announces 2015 Mom and Pop Small Business Grant Program
Small business owners in District 1 may be eligible to receive up to $5,000
(MIAMI, FL) – Miami-Dade County Commissioner Barbara Jordan is encouraging business owners in District 1 to apply for the annual Mom and Pop Small Business Grant Program. Applicants may be eligible to receive up to $5,000 that can be used for purchasing equipment, supplies, inventory, commercial liability insurance, security systems, advertising and marketing, and minor renovations. Applications will be available from February 17, 2015 to March 3, 2015.
One original and one copy of the application, in addition to all the requested documentation, must be hand-delivered to Commissioner Jordan’s district office or the Neighbors and Neighbors Association at the address listed below:

Applications will be accepted from March 5, 2015 to March 12, 2015. Applications will not be accepted after 4:30 p.m. on March 12, 2015. A copy of the application will also be available on Commissioner Jordan’s website at www.miamidade.gov/district01.
