Commissioner Jordan honors Florida Memorial University president

Acknowledges leadership with presentation of President Barack Obama statue

(MIAMI GARDENS, FL) – Miami-Dade County Commissioner Barbara J. Jordan found it fitting to honor Florida Memorial University’s President Dr. Rosalyn Artis during the educational facility’s Founder’s Day celebration. Commissioner Jordan presented Dr. Artis with a proclamation and statue of President Barack Obama for her outstanding leadership of faculty and students at South Florida’s only historically black university.
