The final workshop is titled “Transitioning to College.”
The Darden and Deloitte Awards Ceremony on Thursday will be presented by College Summit. The “You Can Go to College” series is a partnership between Commissioner Monestime, the University of Miami School of Education and Human Development, the University of Miami Center for Latin American Studies and College Summit. The workshop series is sponsored by a grant from the Deutsche Bank of Americas Foundation.
“This series of workshops was a tremendous success and it’s only fitting that the final event highlights the achievement of outstanding students,” Commissioner Monestime said. “My goal with this workshop series was to give students and parents the tools they need to successfully and confidently navigate the college admissions process.”
