Disparity Study Update Meeting Scheduled for Friday, July 12 in District 2

(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Miami-Dade County will host a Disparity Study update meeting in District 2 on Friday, July 12, 2013, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the NFL YET Center at 7090 NW 22nd Ave.

The purpose of the meeting is to inform local businesses about the status of the County’s Disparity Study, which will determine if minority and women-owned business enterprises have had equal access to the County’s contracting opportunities. All local firms are invited and lunch will be served.

Local businesses that attend the Disparity Study update meeting can expect to:

• Receive an overview of the Study’s research process
• Receive an update on the Study’s status
• Have the opportunity to share experiences regarding contracting with the County
