Commissioner Monestime to celebrate park improvements at Oak Grove Park


MIAMI-DADE – County Commissioner Jean Monestime, along with Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and Miami-Dade County Parks Director Maria I. Nardi, will gather for a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, Feb. 11, at 10 a.m., for a new soccer field and other park improvements at Oak Grove Park, 690 NE 159th St., Miami, FL 33162. The new soccer field will feature new synthetic turf, new sports field lighting, and planned amenities, including a field drainage system, WiFi, new bleachers, enhanced landscaping, and ADA accessible updates. Currently, the park features amenities including tennis courts, fitness zones, walking pathways, and a pool.
