(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Miami-Dade County Commissioner Dorrin D. Rolle kicked up his heels with more than 350 senior residents of District 2. The commissioner hosted the golden-agers at his Annual Peppermint Ball held at the New Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church Banquet Facility on Friday, February 27, 2009.
The men and women, most dressed in red and white, were treated to a gourmet dinner, while the D.J. played the golden oldies hits. After dinner, the seniors hit the dance floor to do the twists, the jitterbug and the moves of their youth. At the end of the evening, each senior received a professional portrait photo as a memento of the event and other treats from Commissioner Rolle.
