(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Commissioner Jean Monestime is inviting the community to celebrate the revitalization of the Greater 18th Avenue area in Northwest Miami-Dade. The commissioner will join local businesses and community groups for the kick-off of the Broadway Avenue Revitalization Project on Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29 near the intersection of NW 69th Street and 18th Avenue, starting at 11 a.m.
Businesses along this commercial corridor are getting an updated look, and the avenue will soon be getting new businesses, an upgraded park, and a Neighborhood Resource Center to serve residents in the area. Residents are encouraged to come by and learn more about business opportunities, home ownership, and future plans for Broadway Avenue.
