Catching the bus in District 2 has never been easier thanks to a new bus shelter unveiled at the Westview Garden Apartments Senior Residential Center, 2351 NW 119th Street.  The bus shelter was installed recently as part of Commissioner Jean Monestime’s efforts to improve access to public transportation in his district.

“This is one of the many improvements being made in our community to better the lives of residents in District 2,” Commissioner Monestime said.

Residents at Westview Garden Apartments Senior Residential Center, led by resident Leroy Smith, worked closely with Commissioner Monestime and County workers to find the best location for this bus shelter.  More bus shelters will be installed around the District in coming months.
