(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Commissioner Jean Monestime continues his work to address issues of importance to District 2 residents through his Town Hall series. The next Town Hall meeting will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at the North Miami Library, 835 N.E. 132nd Street, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
During the Town Hall meeting, Commissioner Monestime will update residents on issues impacting District 2. Residents can also offer their input on matters of community concern such as crime, community policing and small business development. County staff will make a presentation on the Mayor's proposed County Budget for Fiscal Year 2012-13.
This is the fourth in a series of Town Hall meetings held by Commissioner Monestime. The most recent Town Hall meeting was held on August 29, 2012 at Faith Community Baptist Church. Nearly 100 residents attended that meeting to dialogue with Commissioner Monestime and County staff.
