Commissioner Jean Monestime announces extended office hours

District 2 office will open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on first thursday of every month beginning on April 4, 2013

(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jean Monestime, District 2, has announced extended district office hours to better serve the residents of District 2. Beginning on April 4, 2013, the District 2 office located at 900 N.E. 125th Street, Suite 200, in North Miami will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month. On all other days, the district office will continue to serve residents from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“The extended hours will allow me and my staff to continue to deliver excellent service to the people of District 2,” Commissioner Jean Monestime said. “The extended office hours are sensitive to the needs of the many residents who work or have families and are not able to visit our district office during the day.”

The extended office hours will only affect the district office. The downtown office, located at the Stephen P. Clark Government Center, 111 N.W. 1st Street, Suite 220, will continue to operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
