Department of Children and Families will be in SPCC lobby May 19


(MIAMI, FL)  – The Miami-Dade County Office of Community Advocacy will partner with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to provide information to the community on Tuesday, May 19 from 9 to 11 a.m. in conjunction with Senator Marco Rubio’s Office monthly FedAssist events in the Stephen P. Clark Center lobby, 111 NW 1st St.

The DCF will provide information regarding public assistance (Cash, Medicaid and Food Stamps), Kid Care, WIC, refugee services, child care licensing and regulation, adult services (ALFs, nursing home care), Abuse Hotline, 2-1-1, domestic violence, family safety and preservation (including child safety initiatives such as Infant Drownings, Who is Watching Your Child, Infant Crib and Bed Deaths, Are You in Control?), summer food programs, farmers' markets, etc.
