Vice Chairwoman Edmonson celebrates opening of Eleazar Delgado's art studio in Wynwood

On April 7, 2011, Vice Chairwoman Audrey M. Edmonson (center) joined musician and singer Tito Puente, Jr. (left) at the ribbon cutting ceremony for Eleazar Delgado's (right) art studio in the heart of the Wynwood Arts District in the City of Miami.  Delgado donated a piece from his work to the American Red Cross to raise funds for victims of the Japan earthquake and tsunami.  The opening featured the Venezuelan artist's "Behind the Lights" collection, which spotlights Miami founding pioneers Julia Tuttle, Henry Flagler and Carl Fisher, among others.
