Vice Chairwoman Edmonson celebrates FANM during annual awards gala

Vice Chairwoman Audrey M. Edmonson and Commissioner Jean Monestime presented a proclamation to Fanm Ayisyen Nan Miyami (FANM), which translates to Haitian Women of Miami, at the organization's Awards Gala, Saturday March 10, 2012 held at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay in Miami. FANM is located in the heart of Little Haiti and addresses issues that affect Haitian immigrant families in South Florida. The organization has a long-standing commitment to meeting the needs of low- to moderate-income families and children for the past 16 years through counseling, outreach, education, access to care and advocacy services.
