Vice Chairwoman Edmonson celebrates 19th annual Commemorative Service and Fourth annual Youth Talent on Parade



Jamyan Lawhorn, a student at Henry E.S. Reeves Elementary School and a participant in the African-American Committee of Dade Heritage Trust's Fourth annual Youth Talent on Parade and 19th annual Commemorative Service at the City of Miami Cemetery.

Vice Chairwoman Audrey M. Edmonson joined members of the African-American Committee of Dade Heritage Trust in celebrating the 19th annual Commemorative Service and Fourth annual Youth Talent on Parade on April 15, 2012 at the City of Miami Cemetery where a new head stone was unveiled honoring one of the City's African-American incorporators, Dave Green.  The committee, chaired by Dr. Enid C. Pinkney, rewarded participants of its Fourth annual Youth Talent on Parade essay contest which was chaired by committee member Anita McGruder.  The yearly celebration organized by the African-American Committee of Dade Heritage Trust is part of Dade Heritage Trust 2012.  For more information on the committee or on the restoration of the Historic Hampton House www.historichamptonhouse.com.
