Vice Chairwoman Audrey M. Edmonson to visit Spay Neuter Miami Foundation's event

Vice Chairwoman Audrey M. Edmonson will stop by the Spay Neuter Miami Foundation's free surgeries for dogs and cats for residents of Miami-Dade County on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at the Joseph Caleb Center located at 5400 NW 22nd Avenue, Miami, Florida 33142.

With the support of Vice Chairwoman Edmonson, the Miami-Dade Animal Services Department, in partnership with the Cat Network, will perform the free spay and neuter surgeries.  Through funding received from the ASPCA, free rabies, canine distemper and feline upper respiratory vaccinations will be administered to all pets presented for surgery.  Pets will also receive flea and tick preventive and a complimentary microchip, collar and ID tag.  The estimated value of the services and products for each dog is over $400 and over $250 for each cat.
