Vice Chairwoman Edmonson commemorates Memorial Day at Booker T. Washington High

Vice Chairwoman Audrey M. Edmonson spoke before the Booker T. Washington Alumni Association on May 27, 2012 at the association’s Memorial Day Service held at Booker T. Washington Senior High School, 1200 NW 6th Avenue, in Miami. Booker T. Washington High is the second oldest black high school in Miami-Dade County and “is an institution that has graduated men and women whose lives have made a difference to society and this nation,” Vice Chairwoman Edmonson said. “Some of those men and women went on to serve in the United States Armed Forces and today we not only recognize their contributions but remember them for their heroism.”
