MIAMI, FL - Commissioner Audrey M. Edmonson restarted her monthly walks through the N.W. 18th Avenue corridor between N.W. 62 and 71 streets on Sept. 25, 2013. She was accompanied by members of the Miami Dade County Neighborhood Compliance, Solid Waste Department and Police departments as well as volunteers from the Greater Miami Service Corps.  Commissioner Edmonson aims to clean-up the corridor, citing negligent property owners for overgrown lawns and yards, debris and garbage and dilapidated houses and commercial buildings, to encourage more businesses to open on N.W. 18th Avenue and to help the residents keep the neighborhood safe and clean.
