MIAMI, FL- Joined by members of the Liberty Lodge and Temple Elks, business owners and volunteers from the Miami Service Corps, Commissioner Audrey M. Edmonson continued her efforts to clean up the N.W. 18th. Avenue corridor between N.W. 62 and 71 streets in Liberty City on March 27, 2014. Her monthly walks accompanied by Miami-Dade County Police, Public Works and Waste Management and Neighborhood Compliance staff have yielded results in having more properties cited for not cutting the grass and failing to clean out waste and debris as well as having businesses comply with code enforcement regulations. Along the way Commissioner Edmonson stops to talk with business owners and residents and assists them with any concerns.
