Miami FL - A bus stop is usually just a concrete bench but on Saturday, April 26, the bus stop at N.W. 22 Avenue and 56 Street in Liberty City became a community work of art. Commissioner Audrey M. Edmonson stopped by the bus stop located near the Caleb Center where her District 3 office is located to congratulate the young volunteer Picassos who gave of their time and talent to realize a design by Bernisha Fleurinor, a senior student at the Medical Magnet School at Miami Northwestern High School. Students earned community service hours. The project was sponsored in part by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami and Moving the Lives of Kids Community Mural Project.
