Vice Chairwoman Edmonson to head fifth NW 18th Avenue corridor neighborhood clean up

As part of a continual effort, Vice Chairwoman Audrey M. Edmonson will once again return to the NW 18th Avenue corridor in her district to clean up the neighborhood with the help of local partners on Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Starting at 9:30 a.m., Vice Chairwoman Edmonson will join Miami-Dade County Public Works and Waste Management, Police, Code Enforcement units, and Animal Services, as well as the City of Miami Homeless Assistance Program and Greater Miami Service Corps as they walk through commercial and residential streets cleaning up debris, citing property and business owners not in compliance, and talking with residents and business owners on the needs of the neighborhood.

The team will start their clean up near NW 18th Avenue and NW 62nd Street. This will be the fifth time Vice Chairwoman Edmonson participates in the clean up this year.
