Tonight: Commissioner Edmonson to join Operation Restoration Resource Event on violent crime in the community


(MIAMI, FL) – Miami-Dade County Commissioner Audrey M. Edmonson will join local community leaders and clergy at an Operation Restoration Resource Event to address the violent crime in the community. The event will take place this evening at 5 p.m. at Liberty Square Public Housing, 6304 NW 14th Avenue in Miami. 

Among those participating in the event will be federal and state elected officials, the Miami-Dade and City of Miami police departments, local human resources agencies, Pastor Johnny Barber of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church and other clergy and community leaders.

Operation Restoration is a collaborative effort by local elected officials, clergy and the community to bring about positive change and solutions to the senseless shootings in our county.
