Commissioner Edmonson to kick off cleanup of historic Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery


(MIAMI, FL) – Miami-Dade County Commissioner Audrey M. Edmonson, District 3, joined by Mayor Carlos Gimenez and other elected officials, will kick off the clean-up of the historic Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, 3001 NW 46th Street, on Wednesday, July 1 at 9 a.m. 

The one-time clean-up of the historic privately owned cemetery, which is located in District 3, will be conducted by the Miami-Dade County Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and the Department of Public Works and Solid Waste Management.

For the next three months, the Miami-Dade Corrections Boot Camp program will undertake the removal of debris and years of overgrowth.
