Commissioners McGhee and Hardemon, along with Community Health of South Florida and Miami-Dade Corrections, partner to provide COVID-19 vaccinations at the Miami-Dade Pre-Trial Detention Center

MIAMI-DADE – Commissioner Kionne L. McGhee, Chairman of the Health and Emergency Management Committee, and Commissioner Keon Hardemon will join Community Health of South Florida, Inc., to vaccinate some of the eligible detained population on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. at the Miami-Dade Pre-Trial Detention Center, 1321 NW 13th St., Miami, FL 33125.

“It is imperative that every person eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine have the opportunity to receive it. In an effort to protect our correctional officers, nurses, detained residents, and other employees, we must provide opportunities to our detained residents immediately to receive the COVID-19 vaccine,” Commissioners McGhee and Hardemon said in a joint statement.
